Great Theme.  I like it just the way it is.  I know that we users don't take into consideration on the time it takes to make themes like this...  Thank you

I am wanting to use this theme. If you don't mind?  I have tested it my my site and I seem to can't get the tinyportal blocks to show.  I assume it's a rev. com patability issue.  How can I or do you have any plans on updating this theme to work with the new rev. of tinyportal?

Or How do you add tabbs atthe top of the theme? For gallery,downloads and donate?

This theme looks awesome and is exactly what I needed.

My only question is how do I get a "Forum" link to show up top with "Home", "Help", etc. How do we get to the forum?

Thank you!

It'll work with TP 1.0, not .98. Thats' why the blocks don't show. TP 1.0 isn't avialiable to the open public yet, but will be very shortly...

Here is a link at TP on how to add a Forum button.

Nice theme... Going to use it.

Can you tell me where exactly I'll be editing to make membergroups logos show up in posts where profile pics are now, and have the profile pics show up in bottom box.

Also, i would like to remove that contact icons under messages...

thanks

This is a great theme, great colors. I'm just wondering how you remove the "My Community" text from the banner.jpg area. I'm sure it's in the CSS somewhere, but I must be overlooking it.

try in Admin - Current Theme Settings

Couldn't find anything that indicated a banner text link. I'm pretty sure it's in the code and has to be removed. I did it with another theme, but the language must be a bit different here.

Here is what I would suggest. If you are wanting your own pic on top.

Go into that themes IMG folder and ftp it over and look for the banner img and replace it with yours.

No, the picutre I can handle. I'm talking about the text. If I could turn it off on all themes, I would. Each time I install a new one, I have to find out how to remove it. Here is a screen cap of what I'm talking about.

That has nothing to do with this theme.  Use the search next time.

Go to: your admin section /server settings and look real hard for the spot that says forum title and remove and save.

Have another question for you :)

I was wondering if the USER STATS is available with this board. I was wondering if I can have the:

QuoteHello USER NAME HERE
you have X messages, Y are new.
Show unread posts since last visit. <-- A link
Show new replies to your posts. <--- A Link
April 21, 2008, 07:53:15 AM

on this theme. I have the YShoutbox installed. No other mods.

Are you using tp?  What is your website?

Look at your server settings and current theme settings.

From the sound of it.  What you are wanting for stats is something like mine. www.36thid.com  Being that it's a dod theme whats your clan name?

Well, I'm using the theme, but I've modified it to fit my site's theme: writing. My main concern is having those stats I referenced above. They seem to be standard in other themes, but not in this one. My site is HERE (http://www.scribefarm.com/boards), but the DoD theme is not the default. You'll be able to see, though, the stats in the top right hand corner. Should say something about you being a guest, rather than your login time, and posts since last visit.

Anyone help me with Karma as discussed in this thread?

The Karma doesn't appear in the DoD theme I am using.  It appears on the other themes and the default theme.  It appears in the Private Message area but not the general display.

echo '<tr><td class="', $message['alternate'] == 0 ? 'windowbg2' : 'windowbg', '" align="center" valign="middle"><span class="normaltext">', $message['member']['group_stars'], '</span></td></tr>';
}

// Is karma display enabled?  Total or +/-?
if ($modSettings['karmaMode'] == '1')
{
    echo '<tr><td align="left" style="padding-left: 20px;" class="', $message['alternate'] == 0 ? 'windowbg2' : 'windowbg', '" valign="top">';

    echo '
                 <table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
                 <tr>
                       <td align="center" class="smalltext">', $modSettings['karmaLabel'], ' ', $message['member']['karma']['good'] - $message['member']['karma']['bad'], '</td>';

// Is this user allowed to modify this member's karma?
if ($message['member']['karma']['allow'])
  echo '<td>
   <a href="', $scripturl, '?action=modifykarma;sa=applaud;uid=', $message['member']['id'], ';topic=', $context['current_topic'], '.' . $context['start'], ';m=', $message['id'], ';sesc=', $context['session_id'], '" style="padding-left: 0px;"><img src="', $settings['images_url'], '/thumbsup.gif" /></a> || <a href="', $scripturl, '?action=modifykarma;sa=smite;uid=', $message['member']['id'], ';topic=', $context['current_topic'], '.', $context['start'], ';m=', $message['id'], ';sesc=', $context['session_id'], '"><img src="', $settings['images_url'], '/thumbsdown.gif" /></a></td>';

    echo '
  </tr>
</table>';

   echo '
  </td>
</tr>';

}
}
// Show how many posts they have made.
echo '<tr>
<td class="', $message['alternate'] == 0 ? 'windowbg2' : 'windowbg', '" align="center" valign="middle" ><span class="smalltext">', $txt[26], ': ', $message['member']['posts'], '</span></td></tr>';

It is in the diplayt.template.php and above is the code

On my DoD custom theme, what would cause my smilies, and/or the bb commands not to work when you click on them?  Click on quote and the quotequtote/ boxes do not appear.  Click on a smilie they don't appear you can type in the commands and they work.

Also, I can not highlight a full line of text with the left click drag either?

I also get a java script error at the bottom of the page  on the reply page only.  When I click a bb command it then says javascript:void(0);

I found the error in the index.template  it was a java script error.  YOu can delete this if you wish.

Hello,

Firstly, i would like to say this is a brilliant theme, i really like it!

The only thing i would like to be able to do is have the membergroup avatars show up in the post info.

Does anyone know how to do this, or can give me the file and the code needed to do this please?

Cheers

Doc

Someone outside of SMF fixed this issue for me.  Thought i would post it here in case anyone else can use the info.

File to edit:

Display.template.php

Find:

// Show the post group if and only if they have no other group or the option is on, and they are in a post group.

if ((empty($settings['hide_post_group']) || $message['member']['group'] == '') && $message['member']['post_group'] != '')

    {

echo '<tr><td class="', $message['alternate'] == 0 ? 'windowbg2' : 'windowbg', '" align="center" valign="middle"><span class="smalltext">', $message['member']['post_group'], '</span></td></tr>';

echo '<tr><td class="', $message['alternate'] == 0 ? 'windowbg2' : 'windowbg', '" align="center" valign="middle"><span class="normaltext">', $message['member']['group_stars'], '</span></td></tr>';

}

Replace with:

// Show the post group if and only if they have no other group or the option is on, and they are in a post group.

if ((empty($settings['hide_post_group']) || $message['member']['group'] == '') && $message['member']['post_group'] != '')

echo '<tr><td class="', $message['alternate'] == 0 ? 'windowbg2' : 'windowbg', '" align="center" valign="middle"><span class="smalltext">', $message['member']['post_group'], '</span></td></tr>';

echo '<tr><td class="', $message['alternate'] == 0 ? 'windowbg2' : 'windowbg', '" align="center" valign="middle"><span class="normaltext">', $message['member']['group_stars'], '</span></td></tr>';

Make that change and upload the file back to your theme directory, and your assigned Member Group Avatars will now display in the post info.

A big thank you to =SAMS=Hairy for helping me out with this.

Hope this can help someone else too :)
