Title: Can you copy a topic?
Post by: mjolley on March 16, 2008, 10:25:42 AM
I have searched to no avail.

I  need to copy a topic (a poll to be specific) SEVERAL times and I don't want to re-type over and over.

Anyone know how?

There is a mod that can copy topics (with polls):

That is awesome! It seems to be exactly what I am looking for...

...but, for the life of me I can't get it to work. I think I have installed it correctly, but it won't work.

I tried to use this link instruction: http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=402 but it does not seem to apply, because I can't find any of the items mentioned.

So I used this link: http://www.adrevenueshare.com/parser as outlined in the .txt file with the mod.

However, it still doesn't work.

I changed back to the default theme and it didn't work.

The only other thing I can think of is that it doesn't copy polls, but I haven't tried a typical text yet.

Any other ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

THANKS!!!
