Title: Need help with "View the most recent posts" and how it is displayed
Post by: v3rax on March 24, 2008, 04:33:34 PM
I am starting a new forum here http://www.devilscandy.com/CrackCocaineRecoveryForum/index.php (http://www.devilscandy.com/CrackCocaineRecoveryForum/index.php)

To replace this one
http://www.crackfreedom.proboards56.com/index.cgi (http://www.crackfreedom.proboards56.com/index.cgi)

The only thing I am having problems with as far as setting the new one up is that I can't get the "View most recent posts" to display all the OP's info like my old one does.  If you go to the OLD forum and click on View the 30 most recent posts of this forum. You will notice that the threads are displayed with all of the OP's info on the left.

On my new SMF forum, if I go to "View the most recent posts" it shows the posts, but NOTHING about the OP other than his name.

Is there a way for me to make my new SMF forum display all of the OP's info on the left like the OLD "probards" does??

Thanks

There's currently no feature to do this, but I think it's doable if to edit template_showPosts() inside Profile.template.php to get it working.

Maybe I'll post the code later on if I have the time to. Or perhaps someone else can do it faster :)

This is not in 1.1.4 I believe. Are you using a mod?

You posted this in the SMF 2.* section, and as your link isn't working, are you trying to do this on a SMF 2.0 BETA forum or 1.1.* forum?

Just a word of warning the Joomla bridge is no longer supported by SMF.
