Title: [Implemented] Better SSI support
Post by: jpaq on August 03, 2003, 08:34:08 PM
I would like to see some better SSI support in SMF...

Mostly the biggest concern I have about the current system is that you basically have to use the forum to log in and out.  Once you log in/out, you are brought to the forum homepage.

My site would work out a lot better if I could add an SSI call to log in as part of my index.php and it would just execute and the user would still see the main page...

I know I could (and have) take the login code right out of the Sources/Loginout.php file but I'd rather not have to do that...  Besides, not everyone has the knowledge to do that properly, and even I don't know that I have the knowledge to make sure it's security hole free.....

Thanks,

Jeff
