Hi, guys. I have a phpbb2 forum (http://www.bustedbankroll.moo.no), but i want SMF instead. Can someone give me a explaination in details step by step how i do it? I also want all my postes to get in the SMF forum.

Thats not helping. I have Puttet the SMF into my FTP (Core FTP light) but what to do next

How to convert to smf is described in detail at the link that Aäron so kindly posted above.
Anyhow, you must install your smf forum in the same database as your phpbb forum. Or if you install it at a different database, then the smf db user must be granted full access and permissions to the phpbb forum''s database. Then upload the convert.php and .sql files to the folder where you have installed the smf, point your browser to the convert.php file and follow the instructions.
The conversion will not touch anything to your phpbb forum, but as a precaution, make a thorough backup of its database and forum files. Hope it helps :)

This converter was unable to find SMF in the path you specified.
Please double check the path, and that it is already installed there.
What to do?
I havnt installed it yet? How I install? I cant even find the install.php in the SMF. And do i have to lay the SMF INTO the phpbb path, or in a new path?

You must install smf in order to convert. I

Thanks for the help guys!! ok , now i have installed it, BUT when im trying to convert i get this message:

The converter did not find any conversion data files. Please check to see if the one you want is available for download at www.simplemachines.org. If it isn't, we may be able to write one for you - just ask us!
After you download it, simply upload it into the same folder as this convert.php file. If you're having any other problems with this converter, don't hesitate to look for help on our forum.

Forget that, it worked now BUT!!! when i convert it stands:
Unable to find the settings for phpBB2. Please double check the path and try again.
I got it :) !!! didnt know it was case sensetive haha
