Unzip it first....

Inside you will find several components and modules to install.

QuoteMOS_SMF_BRIDGEv2.11stable

Like I said, unzip it first.  You have to install each file inside it separately.  You cannot install the entire thing at once.

Inside, you will find:

com_smf_rc2.zip

Install that.

com_smf_registration_mos4.5.1.zip

Install that.

MOS_SMF_Integrated Login.zip

Unzip it.  Upload MOS_SMF.php to your SMF Sources directory, and install mod_smf_loginv2.0.zip (as a module).

You aren't unzipping com_smf_rc2.zip, are you?   That needs to be left as a zip.

Go to your Mambo admin panel.  Under Components>Install/Uninstall

Scroll to the bottom.  Click "Browse", find and select com_smf_rc2.zip from your hard drive.  Click Install.

Thanks.  The problem appears to be Mambo-specific.  There is something wrong with your com_installer.  I tried to install a completely unrelated component (PollsXT), and it resulted in the same thing.

You should report this at the Mambo forums, not here at the SMF forums.
