I am at slow 56k internet connection. today i was uploading a video of 8mb and after 40min i get "500 eternal server error".

How to fix it.
It is very likely that you hit a timeout. 40 minutes is a long time for an http submission. You can talk to your host about raising the timeout, but it is possible they will not do that.
