im using SMF 1.1.4
i have several member group on my forum
i want to make some of my board rooms available for some member group only
yes i can set an Allowed Groups for this, however i want the other member group could stiil see the restricted room but they the couldnt enter it
i want them to post in a room first ( lets say an introduction room ) then i could upgrade their membergroup to the regular on so they'll be able to access all rooms
is there any way to set this ? any help would be much appreciate

i've tried the mod, but im afraid it was not what i need
the reason is this mod still allow member to view the topic in the forbidden board, while i want the member could only see the board title but board is completely inaccessible until their membergroup is upgraded by my moderating team

I'm not sure if there's any current mod available that will do that.
Feel free to post in Mod Requests or Help Wanted (not for support) to get somebody to make one for you.
