Is there a way to track a PM and see if it has been read or not
Not a feature in SMF that I know about :)
Let us know if you want this topic moved to the mod request board (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=79.0)! Someone, may be willing to develop a mod with such features.

I explained above, you don't receive anything. Read my post above. You see nothing changes, the only way to know a pm was read is to view that pm in your outbox, there is no "receipt".... there's nothing but a line of text in your outgoing messages, which only YOU; ie; the sender, will see. You must install it to see what I mean. :)
ahaa, sorry i understand now. Great work anyway, gonna try it now.
