Title: Sub Forums
Post by: Spudgun on June 27, 2008, 12:55:33 PM
Hello

I know we have child boards in SMF which are kind of sub forums but I'd love to see a proper sub forum mod (for want of a better explanation!)

Example in link below (phpbb garbage) ;D

As far as I'm concerned they are EXACTLY the same. Except the terminology.
Looking at the child forums on that board, they look exactly like smfs.

OK granted karlbenson they are the same but unless you run a forum that encourages children to post, some of us would rather see 'sub forum' rather than 'child board/forum'. I'd imagine this would be fairly easy to implement but not for a man of my skills. :'(

Thanks for the reply though ;)

In index.english.php in /Themes/default/languages folder find
$txt['parent_boards'] = 'Child Boards'; And replace the "Child boards" part with whatever you want.
