Title: members are ip banned
Post by: hadesflames on July 05, 2008, 12:44:48 AM
ok i am having a problem, one of my global mods are unable to access the forum unless using a proxy, and in about an hour or so the proxy becomes unusable to reach my site so he must find a different proxy, seems to be an ip ban, but my ban list is empty =/

i have visual warning mod installed but i doubt it has anything to do with it, however i thought it might help you guys if you know that because it has access to bans ect...

any ideas?

Could be a DNS replication problem.

But if that member is using a DNS server that no other member is using and your domain isn't on it, then that would explain it. When my forum was with a previous hosting provider, I couldn't access it from my work internet connection. No other member had the problem, because nobody else was using that DNS server.
