Version 1.1 - March 09 2010! Fixed a bug that was preventing uninstalling the mod.

It restored the "leet" easter egg in SMF 2 and removes it in SMF 1. What it does it when a user reaches at 1337 number of posts is shows "leet" instead of 1337 under his/her post count.

It adds the leet easter egg back in for everything above SMF 2.0, otherwise it removes it.

It was released from the whole customize team (all customizers did a little part in getting this up including testing).

Which is why it was also made to remove it in 1.0 and 1.1 versions. This way those who want to remove it can do so easily. But some of us like the 1337 and want it back :D

A mod is a mod, I have seen others change not even 1 line of text to accomplish something. Its still a mod.
We don't have intentions of bloating this mod.

I'm getting tired of this discussion. Either nobody else has a sense of humor or we speak different languages.
I speak Californian English, we know a lot fewer meanings of words that you'd think ;) we just make up new ones for things we don't know how to describe.
I found this mod very useful because i received errors about Leet when I went to view a users profile who had 1,337 posts. Now we can view those Profiles again.

I don't quite understand what you mean. You received errors viewing a profile for somebody with 1337 posts and you installed the mod and it fixed the errors? Or you removed the mod and that fixed the errors?
I'm just concerned because if there is some sort of error then somebody should look into it and see if either the mod package or SMF should be changed to fix the error.
Probably a theme that I installed was causing the error. But I installed this mod and it fixed the error.

As its been stated in this topic already, in versions 1.0.x and 1.1.x of SMF when you get 1337 posts it shows the word leet, people didnt like this and some even thought the site was hacked, so in 2.0 of smf it was removed.
This mod if you install on a 1.0.x or 1.1.x forum, it will remove the code that makes 1337 show as leet, if you are using a 2.0 forum it will add the code that makes 1337 say leet

It's also hardcoded in SMF 2.0. That's against the rules.
well i made the mod and I did bring that up when I made it in the former smf team chatroom (they changed the team room after january incident) it was oked as its an easter egg, and most of the easter eggs in smf are hardcoded.
I just noticed that leet error in number of posts in one of my member's profile. I was shocked and a bit scared to be honest, as i had thought my forum was hacked or had some database errors, although i take great care to run maintenance every few days.
Just to make sure so i don't have to go through any of these bad surprises, which you call easter eggs... what others are there hard-coded into SMF 1.1.x?

That's the only directly user visible one that might appear in the forum IIRC, the others have to be actually triggered.

You're not missing much. Basically, if the user's post count is 1337, it changes it to say 'leet' as the programmer joke rather than 1337.
