I get the following error message. I have done everything the way it was supposed to be done.. i used the same database for both forums and the same username.. and i have not installed any major mods on my forums help.

oh also when i go to my forum.. it shows the forum but the post and topics are missing. i have tried the whole repair thing and all it does is dump everything because the topics are empty and i have also tried to recount and had no succcess.
ok ive removed the whole thing for the 7th time and started all over again.. and for whatever reason it always stops at the message below. Then i get a cannot find server message. after 6 hrs of trying i give up.. i guess im one of the unlucky few stuck with invision :(

The IPB convertors have been tested with / work for 2.0 and 1.3 final. So it seems that the convertors don't work for IPB 1.1.1. I suggest you to use, like, IPB to PhpBB convertor, then the PhpBB to SMF convertor.

I've successfully converted three IPB's in the last week and they were all older versions than 1.3 final. Unfortunately I did not notice exactly what versions they were but I'm almost sure one of them was IPB 1.1.1 so maybe that's not Princess's problem. Perhaps it's a problem with the server she's on?
have you tried converting to 1.3.1 then running the converter?
