Title: After moving from 1.1.6 to 1.1.7 , i got "An Error Has Occurred!"

i can't install now other pakage it says :

I've also just got this error, It doesn't really help that it's a reported bug - I have a package that now won't uninstall and is causing the memberlist to say "gender = Username". Is there anyway of sorting the error ? I would need some guidance as I'm not very good at php.

i am also getting the same error message after updating to smf 1.1.7 so kindly resolve it soon.

have you tried the suggested code change that is in the link I posted?

That fix is what was officially commited to the SMF repository about 20 minutes ago.

its still have some problems.

i tried installing "Centerfold World" it asked me ftp login and i entered it and it installed.


then i tried installing all these mods and it didnt asked any ftp info but gave the same error message back again:-
MessagePreviewOnHover
Qucik Register

and uninstalling this package gave same error:
Ellow pink smiley set

where as when i tried uninstalling this mod it uninstalled. Centerfold World

I'm still having some problems, I can't find Packages.php? Is this because I copied all the templates etc from the default template to a new one? ... Am I even looking in the right place ^^ (I'm looking at this http://dev.simplemachines.org/mantis/view.php?id=2734 (http://dev.simplemachines.org/mantis/view.php?id=2734) at the moment)

Any help would be appreciated as I'm a complete noob with PHP
