Title: Setting the Forum Title
Post by: DrP3cker on December 04, 2008, 03:25:40 AM
Im trying to edit the "Forum Title" in Admin - Configuration - Core Configuration and every time I adjust it and click save it just reverts back to "My Community".

Any help would be great.  Cheers

The Forum Title is stored in Settings.php.. so maybe the Settings.php isn't writeable.. Change it to CHMOD 755
How do I chmod? / what is chmod? (http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=477)

Thanks for the advice TE.  Figured it out and I didnt need to change the attributes.

As I said in my other thread.

-----

Ive mucked around with a few things on my webhosting and that was the cause.

I had my webhosting directing my .com to .com/forums but the SMF installation didnt recognise that.  So it wasnt referencing the right information.

Changed the hosting around and now its sweet.
