I can't find the place where you define how many PMs users may have before their box is full. I am sure I saw a place when I was running 1.1.7, but I can't find it anywhere in 2.0!
Also, is there a way to purge old PMs for all users like there is for old forum topics? To stop people hoarding them too long.
Hello!
When you create a new membergroup, or editing one, you will se "Max number of allaowed PMS" (Or similar). Thats where you set it.
Thank you. Any ideas at all for the 2nd part of my query?
Well, theres this mod, but its not for 2.0:

I think I just found that one and posted in it querying the possibility :D I am surprised not more people want this actually.
A search gave this result:
Delete ALL private messages (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=68317.0)
Thanks Jim, but I don't want to do it that indiscriminately. I would at least want to wait till they were over a month old!
Yeah, I have had pretty good luck by just announcing that I was gonna clean out the PM boxes if they didn't. Deleting them like this would be a drastic measure at best.

Thank Sri.Nas :P
IngeJones - Is this issue resolved or do you still require assistance?
Well it's not resolved, but obviously the thread's going nowhere so might as well close it :)
Feel free to post a request in the Mod Requests (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=79.0) board and someone might put one together for 2.0
