Title: Limit number of posts in smf 1.1.7
Post by: jeremycollins on December 15, 2008, 11:07:44 PM
How can you limit the number of posts allowed per week based on member group?  For example:  I have an advertising forum, which only the top two ranks in my forum can access.  How can I allow them to post in the advertising forum, but limit it them to only one post per week?

Thanks for your reply!  Doesn't this change the setting for all posts/topics?  I just want to edit it for one forum.

yes!  I have been to forums where you are only allowed to post once per 7 days...it was an SMF forum, and I was wanting to know how to do that.

far if my idea there is no such option by default how ever you can use mod
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=651 (SMF 1.1.x)
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1327 (SMF 2 Beta)

Is this issue solved or do you still require assistance?
