0_o is what i said to, does anyone have any suggestions befor i try it out and I want to know if it will work with 1.1.7, even though it says 1.1.4 someone said there are no database changes from1.1.4-1.1.7
Hi, i'm testing it in local with smf 1.1.7 and joomla 1.5.8.
it seems it works but i'm testing with only 3 user account and i want to test it better before use it on my website...
PS: you need >php 5.2
Thats not a poblem 4 me, But i could not get it to work for myself, But i think I probbably missed a step thats why. Anyways If you are using joomla as your main site and just want really basic forums try fusionboard, just go to joomla->Extensions->Forums-> Look for JoomBB
But note its in beta stage and it has way way less features than SMF, but its integrated completly with JOOMLA so its still a good alterenative
I have tried JFusion and found it easy to install once it became more stable, but its integration is limited and doesn't wrap SMF with its own URLs. Fortunately, the SJSB project has improved greatly, installs easily and works exceptionally well. It is simply the best and most comprehensive forum bridge for Joomla and only working one that is based upon SMF 2.0. Currently, SEF URLs are not yet fully functional but being focused on. This and several other key features will be addressed with the next release that ought to be out within the coming weeks.
