What's the best button creator that you have found and use ??? just wondering,i have searched all over the net for a great one but maybe some good advice is needed :)

I use Banner Maker Pro. It's free, and great!

Free = Gimp
Paid = Photoshop

Not if you know the right people Shadow :)

You know that is the only thing stopping me from going to linux....

How well does it work?

Well what most people say  photoshop has a easier layout, and is easier to learn. While GIMP has most of the features but a is more complex. :-\

GIMP is pretty good. It even has some advantages over PS. Of course PS has advantages too. If you want both you can always run a virtual box anyway.
