Title: [Theme] vBSMF
Post by: tEamXtreme on March 11, 2005, 02:12:47 AM

This my first SMF template, and I think it turned out great! I'm still adding new images to the forum, and making some small adjustments.

vBSMF was based from the original vBulletin template, and was created by vBulletin. I decided to make my own version for SMF. I enjoyed making it, and I hope others will enjoy my work.

would there be a problem? Cause I don't... I might make my own  :-\

They are copyrighted..so it would be better to actually make you own , yes. But the theme looks good already, so that would only make it better and more original . ;)

Better get some kind of permission from the vBulletin staff. Since the theme uses the default buttons  the theme thread entry is moved to the spare themes thread.

Otherwise: keep on your theme work!

theme looks good, maybe the navigations buttons on the top could also be converted into the vbb theme style

I'll be sending an email to day to vBulletin about asking them permission if I can use there images for my own template. I'll post my result to what they have said.

I have gotten an email for vBulletin saying "Sorry, but our copyrighted images can only be used for a licensed vBullletin forum.  We cannot allow their use on other applications.."

I'll be updating the package right now with the default SMF images, till I make my own.

Package updated*

I made some of my own images, and added them to the package.

Theme is updated! Images fixed. You can see it live demo @ http://www.area51.darkfirehosting.com/forum/index.php

You have a look by loging into it.

Please note that I had problems with that hosting, and I had to use a webFTP. If there are any problems the forum, it might be the forum it self, cause of the missing files it might have.

This would be great! Maybe its easyer for you, if you download the german language package, and looks how the spelling is there (sorry 4 my bad english)

Good idea, also for dutch and russian there are language packs  :)
And the buttons names already tell you what it means!

Thanks for letting me know Sloopz. I will check the package again.

@Arachaic - I should have the TP version ready once I can be sure the 1.1 package is working here as planned.

:)

Update: css file updated. This should resolve the borders around images problem.

I have not touched this theme in a while but I will re-fix it for SMF final. Regarding the error in your /Sources/Load.php I would replace that file with a clean copy. If that still does not work please report back with any mods you have installed.

Sure, do you have any mods installed within your forum? Sounds like you need to re-upload your /Sources/Load.php file with a clean copy (i.e one unmodified with any changes carried out by mods you have installed).

To be safe just place a ~ infront of your current load.php file and upload a new one.

It looks like you've not uploaded the images.

Make sure that there is an images directory in the directory of the theme.

http://www.nation842.ej.am/forum/Themes/vBSMF111/images/off.gif for example, comes up 404.
