Don't know that I'll be much help, but to narrow it down, are they getting registered in to Mambo?  As in, can you go to the Mambo User Manager and see them there?  That will help nail down where in the registration process you're having a problem.

Also, do your SMF logs show anything?

And my issue was in the smf_members table, not that that seems to matter now.

That's the exact situation I was running in to.

Do you have a backup site you can test on?

You could try backing up your members table, emptying it, then runnings the mos2smf user import program.  If that doesn't work, you can restore your old table.

Also, are you able to register someone directly in to SMF, if you bypass the bridge and Mambo?  That might help tell you if it's a problem in SMF or the bridge.

Yup was able to reigster someone directly in SMF.

Until its more stable have decided to ditch the mambo signup and just use the smf one instead.

I have a different register problem. when you click on register, you get to the correctly wrapped register page, you enter your details and when you click submit, you end up  here:

../index.php?option=com_smf_registration&task=register2

bu its and empty page and nothing happened. no user in smf and no user in mambo...
