Hey there! Me again! ;D
Just added both of the gamercard mods and received 25 errors after installation. I'm using RC1 with default.
Pretty evenly split between PSN and Xbox as the errors being pulled are either Line 1223 or Line 1224 in the Subs-editor.php file. I attached the area that shows both lines. Any ideas?

Can you attach Subs.php just so I can make sure that it installed correctly there.
It is showing up in the signature and in posts correctly.
Updated. It was an error in Modifications.english.php.
Just download the new update at it will be fixed. Just remember to uninstall and delete the previous version.
Cool deal. Thanks for the update!
Any way this can pull the new trophy cards from the UK site of playstation?

I'm not a PS3 person so I don't know what that is. If you can provide some details, I'll be willing to look into it as an update :)
I'm suggesting that you don't use that .gif because its kinda old use this one it goes better with the mod.
I'm using it right now.
I wont ask for credit I just want it to look nice.
JBlaze,
Are you updating this mod and your Xbox mod to RC2?

JBlaze,
Are you updating this mod and your Xbox mod to RC2?
I may. I haven't really gotten around to updating the smaller of my mods since I've been so busy lately.
I went ahead and installed this new version on my RC2 forum. I'm using Prince Of Darkness theme which uses the default Curve files for the ones that are edited in this mod. I'm getting one little problem as shown.
I emptied my cache and everything and no tests failed. Plus, I'm not getting any errors in my log. Is this because there was no prompt to install in all themes? Do I just need to place the image in the correct theme? I'm going to try that, but let me know if it is something else.
Look below:
Is there a psn.gif in Themes/yourtheme/images/bbc ?
I answered my own question. It was just that the image wasn't in the theme/images/bbc folder!
Sorry, replied as you were typing. Thanks though! It's working.
Thanks to JBlaze from giving me this mod :)
That wasn't in the original readme/post of the mod, so I have updated it so it does now say to upload the psn.gif to your bbc directory, for future reference.
How about it DYNAMICALLY changing with your level, trophies, etc... i would love that!!
I don't have a PS3 myself so it'll be hard for me to test, but if I have the time, I'll get around to looking at it.
Not working with RC2
If you take control of a mod from someone else please make sure it work. I am having problems with RC2 Curve theme. Nothings showing up.
I've got it working fine on my RC2 forum on two different themes.
What is actually not working?
It's working for me as you can see without doing anything special once installed.
Here's my site: www.royalduke.info
Can you please try to add your gamercard or something, I have an xbox :P
Bumb,
Still doesn't work on my site.

Then you are using the wrong mod. This is for PSN, not Xbox ;)
I know that >.> I used the PSN tag and it didn't work.
/me pokes iKorp
Get to fixing it boy! :P

Attach your files and I can check it tomorrow. Like I said, it worked fine on my site and I'm running RC2. I can double check to see if it installed correctly for you, but I won't be able to check until Saturday night. (It's about 4:30am right now... Been outclubbing, so I doubt you want me to look at it until I've had a lot of sleep! LOL)

[psn]psnid[/psn]
Sustitúyase "psnid" con su nombre de PSN.
(Replace "psnid" with your PSN name.)
El mío es TK2012 por lo que sería como este:
(Mine is TK2012 so it would be like this:)
[psn]TK2012[/psn]
I apologize for my Spanish... I used Google Translator! ;D
Thanks friend ;)
No problem! Good luck!
Sorry for the VERY late response to this topic, I haven't checked it. RoyalDuke, it seems to be working absolutely fine on 2 of my test forums and my live site, aswell as plenty of other peoples live websites, so it seems to be your installation of SMF that has been messed with. If you upload the files, or show where and why it is going wrong, I'd be happy to look into it.
It is for the PlayStation Network though, having an XBox wouldn't mean that your XBox Live Gamertag would work on it, or anything else would work with it, only the PSN ID.
I installed the PSN BBcode mod and did the following:
[psn]PSNid[/psn]
but it doesn't seem to work... am I missing something?
Did you replace the PSNid with your id information?
I did it like this:
[psn]foozer1[/psn]
and it just shows the bbcode, no image.... do I have to upload the psn tag image somewhere? I'm confused.
1) What version of SMF are you using?
2) Are you using a custom theme?
3) When you installed the package, did any tests fail?
I am using smf version 1.1.11. Custom theme and no tests failed. When I have tried the [psn] tag, this is what it looks like:
[psn]Foozer1[/psn]
Well, there is a good reason for your problem now. When I parse the package, it is missing the installations for the 1.1.XX series in the package and only has the information for SMF2.0 series. (Although it says that the package is still compatible with the 1.1.x series)
Looks like when it was last updated, the other package that would have worked with 1.1.x was deleted from the mod site or someone forgot to add it to the current package. It won't parse for the 1.1.x series either here.
One thing that needs to be done is that you need to move the .gif image here into the following directory:
/Themes/"custom theme"/images/bbc".
But, I don't use 1.1.11 or that series any longer, so I'm sure that the Source edits are different that need to be done. At least the parts of what you search for are probably different. Maybe, the original author or the person who updated this will either:
A) attach a previous version that was usable on 1.1.xx
or
B) delete the compatibility for the 1.1.xx from the mod site
or
C) update it so that the mod contains the 1.1.xx edits and is parsable.
C4G-TK, I appreciate all your help! Unfortunately, I don't have a /Themes/"custom theme directory. Here are the folders inside my "themes" directory:
babylon
classic
default
Diablo3
right... custom theme would be any theme that wasn't included in the main SMF download. In this case, it would be the Diablo3 directory.
/Themes/Diablo3/images/bbc"
If I still have a package, I will see if I can find an older copy of the package on one of my sites and look at it for you to see how the edits differ between the 2.0 to the 1.1.X series.
@ Liam, iKorp, Jblaze... Does anyone have the 1.1.X compatible package any longer?
Per the Mod Site:
QuoteThe "XBox Live Gamertag BBCode" mod is compatible with all current versions of SMF. For the SMF 1.1.X series and the 2.0 series up until 2RC2, use the "BBCode_PSN.zip" file. For SMF 2.0 RC2, use the file with the "_2RC2" extension.
Can the person in charge of the mod please either attach the file that is workable for the 1.1.X series on the mod site, combine it with the current package since it is missing from there, or remove the compatibility from the mod site for 1.1.x
I uploaded the file you suggestd, but it still doesn't work! :'( Does anyone know if there is a psn tag mod that works with 1.1.11?
Sorry for the delay; I was taking a little break from SMF. Yes, I still have the 1.1.X version... somewhere. I thought I included it in the latest release, but it seems not. I'll dig it out and try to update it ASAP.
Thanks Liam.!
@Foozer
Once the version for you is attached, I'll be more than happy to help you out with getting it workable.
Is there a mod or could someone make one to insert gamertags same has an avatar is displayed when members make a post it shows their gamertags aswell but on the right hand-side, So instead of having to insert it each time they make a post it would automaticly be placed inside. If you was able to lets say in the members forum profile their was a place to put the direct link to the users gamertag then send the information to the posts that the members have created.
I have included a image to give a better idea of want i'm wanting
Mod updated to smf 2.x
