Title: Capping personal messages

I know you limit the amount sent in an hour. Is there any way to cap the amount someone can have in their mailbox ?

Yes, by membergroup.
Admin > Membergroups

Click "Modify" to the right of the membergroup you want to edit. You'll find a settign for this there.
