Nevermind I found it. You need to change it, it's under "Topic Settings" NOT "Post Settings"

Greetings - I have some issue with your mod. I'm using SMF 2.0 RC1-1 and default theme (visually modified)

First, when the topic is sticky and locked, color isn't changing. Any way to fix that one?

Second, when the topic is just locked it does change the color, however it gives me this ending (bold) Name of the Topic style="color: silver;"> - guess something went wrong? (I'm providing you with the SS)

And last, and maybe most important, I've tried uninstall it and it show some errors. I did continue with uninstall and now I cannot delete anything from my admin panel. I can install/uninstall but I cannot delete any mod.

It says:

The following error was encountered:
Access Denied.

Access control configuration prevents your request from being allowed at this time. Please contact your service provider if you feel this is incorrect.

It's not a big pain but of course that I would like to fix those problems if possible. If not, then I would like to restore my delete function for admin CP :)

Many thanks ;)

Swedish Translation here:

Swedish-UTF8
$txt['lockedTopicColor'] = 'TextF&auml;rg f&ouml;r l&aring;sta &auml;mnen<br /><span style="font-weight: normal;" class="smalltext">(t.ex. #929292 eller Grey (gr&aring)</span>';

@wladymeer
Please attach the file that failed the test. I will check it myself. I will only remove the lines that this mod added.

The "Access Denied" does not have anything to do with the mod. It is your host that is preventing you from accessing your file. A permission issue I believe. Talk to your host.

@ Morp
Thanks Morp. Package updated.

Well you see, that "tiny error" in file made this Access Denied error. I installed it back and then got to the line where error was located, fixed it and no more Access Denied errors and all working fine now  (it was one extra ">" in the middle of the line) ;)

Anyway, both working now - colors are there and no errors around ;)

@wladymeer
haha you know that the error is not related to the mod. It's a million miles away apart. lol
Glad to know you have it sorted though.

Sorry to post this publically. I would have PM'd you, but your profile said not to PM you... A bit of dilemma there..

I ran across your MOD to Colorize of Locked Topics. While I use no locked or sticky topics I would still like to be able to change the color of the topics to a normal blue hyperlink.   I really don't care for the black (underlined) topics alongside the black (underlined) member names.  (you can see what I mean at www.aesopsretreat.com)

I would prefer blue underlined topics with black (non-underlined) membername.

Could I somehow entice you to convert your "Colorization of Locked Topics" to suit my purpose as far as the blue topic links go? I'll worry about the member name issue some other time.   I'm willing to reimburse you for your efforts.

@jsamples
Apologies but I think your post is not related to this mod.  Have you tried Colors and Icons (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1756) mod?

I checked pretty much everywhere I could for the solution. When I ran across your mod I figured if you could change the font color of locked topics then you could change the font color of all the topics. If your mod changes the locked topic then couldn't the vars be changed to change all topics?

I'll recheck under Colors and Icons, but if I can't find anything are you interested in looking at it?

We are here to help although no guarantee to solve your issue. We'll try of course.

Well, All I'd like to do is to change the topic color to blue with underlink, (not bold) that's it. Just the topic font color on a mod'ed theme.  So, unless there is a need to touch the default or source/ files that's all I'm looking for.

I'm obviously not a php person, Still, I tried my best to hunt down the  var to change the color on my own. But after several months of trying I obviously have not found the little tyke. So, here I am, seeking help to change something as simple as a "font color."  (embarrassed)

I can hardcode it per your instructions if necessary , it will be there to stay..

Some of your mods come really close to what I was looking for, and I found another that changed the entire line for Groups, but all I'm looking to do is just change the topic itself. Not the membername, posts, replys or time.

Weird eh?

btw, my forum is at AesopsRetreat.com
