Just got a coding problem resolved and thought I might post a link to it here as after doing a search I noticed that there was a lot of questions about this asked but just this one solution. :D

It lets you use SSI_boardnews to pull not only the message but the attachments along with it. You can use it to display an image with the post or just a link to a file. mp3's etc
