Title: Weirdest registration error.
Post by: Idiotvirt on August 09, 2009, 02:31:56 AM
Alright so recently my hoster installed phpbb saying she'd install smf as well if needed. I had said no and then later came to ask to find her telling me no. I setup SMF on the same database as phpbb putting a different prefix. The installation was successful I can login, logout, access everything and post/delete whatever I want without problems or slow loading times. Then I go to register... as soon as I click register it tells me " Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator." but the accounts register perfectly fine. I get an email depending on if activation is on and I can activate my account and even post with that account... I don't understand why that error always appears -_-.

Fixed it.

SMF - 1.1.10

[Plugin] PM on Registration - Broke my registration so that it displayed the error saying that there was a database problem even though the account registered fine.

[Plugin] Auto Double Poster Merger - Broke non-admin posting so that if someone who tried to post that couldn't avoid the plugin they got sent to a fatal error.
