Title: Login Problem
Post by: morrisosu on April 14, 2005, 01:17:29 AM
Website: http://www.eastohiosports.com
SMF Version: 1.0.2
Mambo Version: 4.5.2

I installed the bridge with no problems. The two are using the same database.

However, I can no longer login. It keeps asking me to login, even after I input my username and password. It just contiually asks me to input username and password. Any help with this?

Have you unpublished the mambo login and published the SMF login mod?

There's also a possibility that the login is set up to take you back to the page from where you logged in.  This will give the appearance of you not being logged in as it always shows the login page.  If you're running the right smf_login module, check the params and make sure that they are set to take you back to the mambo page of forum page.  Just a thought as I went through this myself.

The SMF bridge login module is published with the normal login module is unpublished. It is set to return to the Mambo homepage after logging in.

What it does, no matter what page I try to login from, is send me to the home page of the wrapped SMF, saying that I can't go on. Maybe it's something to do with the fact that I set guests not able to view the forum. Which file is this setting located, because I can't get into the Admin section.

Thanks.

BTW, I'm using the 3.0 version of the bridge.

Still nothing, plus my users are getting peeved that they can't login.

Any help out there? Everything is fine if I stay logged in from before, but if I logout, I cannot log back in at all.
