This mod was inspired by the SA Points Mod Created By wdm2005 (http://sleepy-arcade.ath.cx/index.php).
It has been modified to work with SA Battles Only and not as a stand alone as a means to give members a Bonus to the gold they can use in the Battles Shop

for Health, Speed, HP, etc. This modification was done By Chaos Dragon (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php).

Gold Bonus Features
- This mod will add a Gold Bonus Feature to SA Battles.
- You will Be able to decide how much gold a member will get for:
   *Posts
   *Topics
   *Per Word
   *Per Character
   *And a Gold Limit for a max total amount of gold that will be given. (This is on a per post basis)
- There is also a Gold display to the Battle Stats in posts and profile.
- It will work simultaneously  with the SA Battle Cash System in Admin -> SA Battle -> Config.
   Just Leave "Cash System To Use With Battle" as gold
- Upon instillation of this mod members will receive 1000 Gold.
- You Can change the settings for the Bonuses in:
   Admin -> Gold Bonus -> Settings

Supported Languages
- English and
- English UTF-8 at this time.
   Translations always Welcome.

Changes
- Removed Some unnecessary coding
- Some typos and misspellings.
- Changed A couple of things Nothing major
- Added Sessions check for SMF mod Site Approval. (July 17,2009)

Though I can't use it since we run 1.1.10 SMF, it  does sound intriguing; but what is SA Battles? I don't see any mention of it on google or this site, same for SA Points.

Edit: I found SA Battles, nothing on SA Points.

It is not titled SA Points in the mod section just as points, but here is the link to the points system if this is what your looking for.
