In other words, take http://www.yoursmfforum.com/Themes/default/images/english/new.gif, and copy it to that  to the english folder, within your theme's images folder.

Your new.gif might be missing but it maybe caused by a bug too:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=325657.0

When you try to browse the forum with a language which is not installed, forum will still work but new.gif will get broken.

Browse the forum with standart language.

http://www.it-bux.com/index.php?language=english

And see if it helps.

I'm going to see if I can word my reply better.

First of all, check to see if this image (http://www.it-bux.com/Themes/default/images/english/new.gif) exists. If it does exist, login to your hosting account, go into your File Manager, and go to that folder. (it should be something like "/home/something/public_html/Themes/default/images/english/") In that folder, look for the file that says "new.gif", select it, and copy it to "/home/something/public_html/Themes/MC2/images/english" (remember, this path may be slightly different but should be related to that). Once you have done that, go back to the forum that has the new replies, and check to see if it works.

If the image (this image (http://www.it-bux.com/Themes/default/images/english/new.gif)) does not exist, you will need this image (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/Themes/smsite/images/english/new.gif), and save that to your computer, and upload it to "/home/something/public_html/Themes/MC2/images/english" (remember, this path may be slightly different but should be related to that). Once you have done that, go back to the forum that has the new replies, and check to see if it works.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. :)

Go to Admin -> Attachments and Avatars and see if you have a valid attachments directory set. If it is valid, then check the directory permissions using FTP or similar. It must be set to chmod 777.

Not necessarily 777. Firstly you will need to check with your hosting provider whether their server is running on suPHP/suEXEC.
If they are running suPHP/suEXEC, the directory's permission to be set to 755. If they don't, it should be set to 777.

But 777 is the best precaution. :) And it doesnt cause any security issues. You're right about suExec, but since none will ever need to browse attachments directory by a direct URL, it won't cause any problem its being chmod 777.

I am not sure what you mean in the first picture.

The second one depends on what version of SMF you are using. It is already in SMF 2.
If you are using SMF 1.1.x, this mod will help you -
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1624 (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1624)

If you are saying that the Enhanced Dropdown (http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1624) installed, but is not working properly, can you please tell us what errors you are getting in your Forum Error Log? (Admin -> Maintenance -> Logs -> Error Logs)

khanje, is this issue resolved now? Have you tried uninstalling the Enhanced Dropdown and reinstalling it back to see if it helps?
