can you select which membergroups you wish to hide the post count of?

I woudl like if it would do that..

I dont want to hide everyones post count

Don't need to. 2.0 can do this in ACP

Administration Center » Features and Options » Profile Fields
Uncheck "Posts"

Is there some way for admins to check post counts, other than turning the option on every time needed?

In ACP you can view the post count of your users.
