I would say...SMF should think about the following things:

1. Curve is not compatible with the mods like the default  core used to be.
2. Please put related topics VB style in default w/o need of mods, this would inc the page views and SEO.


Please consider it.. :)

Mods are being updated, as always happens whenever a new default theme is made. Give it a few weeks. There are already a lot of mods updated to work with Curve.

1. Yup, mods are being updated daily. We're, what, 4 days on from release of RC2 Public and there are something like 170 updated mods on the mod site, with new mods being updated and added every day.

2. Related topics isn't in VB by default if I remember right, and it is a fairly significant performance hit. There's also no evidence that it directly supports SEO either.

It doesn't support the latest version. ::)
