Title: languages error
Post by: pako-G on May 13, 2005, 11:32:21 AM
A critical error has occurred.

This installer was unable to find the installer's language file or files. They should be found under:

/Themes/default/languages

In some cases, FTP clients do not properly upload files with this many folders. Please double check to make sure you have uploaded all the files in the distribution.

If that doesn't help, please make sure this install.php file is in the same place as the Themes folder.

If you continue to get this error message, feel free to look to us for support.

Are you certain a file exists in:

[where you installed SMF]/Themes/default/languages

Named Install.(something).php?

What files exist in that directory?

Install or install?  The case of the first letter means the difference between it working and not working.

No.  Does the filename have a CAPITAL I in it, or a lowercase i in it?  It's important.

Themes should also have a CAPTIAL T, not a lowercase t.
