Title: Unnotify
Post by: bjraines on January 19, 2010, 11:28:49 AM
I have a ton of thread subscription / notifications in my "show new replies to your posts", do i have to go to each post individually and click unnotify?

you can not unnotify from unreadreplies.

but can disable the email alert if you have activated the notify. from notifications settings in your profile

You can use the "MARK ALL MESSAGES AS READ" button in the upper-right hand corner of the unread replies page. Other than bulk-doing it, there is no way to do it from the Unread Replies page from what I know.

Yes, you will. No way to disable that as far as I know without a good chunk of custom coding.

Are you talking about e-mail notification when someone replies? That's what the Notify and Unnotify buttons control.

If you're just talking about the little New indicator, then no... once you have replied, it will always show up in Show new replies to your posts.. :)

No what I am saying is that when I post a reply or start a topic, I am auto subscribed to the thread.

So I get notifications of all replies to these threads and to undo the ones I don't want , I have to actually visit 50 threads and click unnotify.

It seems it is an all or nothing.

Ahhh... Okay, I got it now, I think. :)

You need to deselect Profile > Modify Profile > Notifications > Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.

You can also manage all of your notifications from that page (i.e. - delete all of them at once). :)
