This mod allows you to watch various information from your forum in your Firefox browser's status bar. To use it you should install the SMF Watcher extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/58681/) on your Firefox browser as well. After installation go to the settings window of the extension and enter the following URL in the corresponding field:
http://address-of-your-forum/watcher.php

Currently it displays the following values:

Is there any way to bury it deeper in ones directory so no one can access it?

As it sits now, anyone with SMF Watcher Add-on installed in FF can start plugging in any site
to see if they have Watcher installed as well.....

I like the idea of the Mod, just not it's ease of access for anyone.....

I am using SMF 1.1.11

I know this is a really old topic and wonder if this mod is still being supported.. I've been using it for the past 6 months with Firefox 3.5.xx, and love it... But today I just updated Firefox to 4.0.1 and this mod is not supported by firefox 4 :( Any chance we'll see an update to the firefox add-on?
