Please don't bump within 24 hours. Contrary to popular belief, I do have other things to do rather than just answering support questions like some kind of machine.
Right, so what mod have you got that's breaking logins?

It may have worked! I will post a yes or no in about an hour then we can close this case. Thank you a bunch!
Still doing it :(
Now change the cookie name.
It'll log everyone out immediately to start with but ensures it's all fresh.

Yes it did, but I always wonder if its a local problem with mine and FF. Sent you a temp log in if you have time to test.
Try another browser then.
As for the PM, I already deleted it before seeing this message; my sig does say about not PMing me.

Didnt know there were any other browsers ;) Thanks for your help, sorry about the PM
There's Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari... I personally use Chrome because it has a lower footprint and higher speed on my machine than the others.
I have noticed this happening on one of my forums lately.
One of the things in my log is showing that there are a lot of failed logins by those same users that are being disconnected, and those failed logins are from IP addresses that are not of their own.
Does SMF (in my case 2.0RC3), wipe the cookie of the user if they attempt to login from another IP address ??
