I have a member in my Forum that is loging all days, this member caused this error:
Copyright removed!!
?action=unread
This member doesn't participate and is causing a lot of errors on my forum.
Someone can descrive what is this error?
The waiter
Link to forum?
SMF's code does not like the copyright being removed from the page, though sometimes it can happen if the theme is broken slightly (e.g. by a mod). It's giving you an error because the copyright has been removed for some reason on that page.
OK, but this error is not for a file allowed in one topic?
This is the copyright of the SMF?
I do not understand
The member that caused this error is not a moderator.
Yes, it's possible it could be in theory, depends on your mods.
Doesn't matter about their permissions; for some reason, the copyright at the bottom of the page is supposed to be displayed and it isn't being displayed.
please give us the URL that is causing the error?
(and your SMF version - this question belongs in the support ares for the specific version, not the feedback and discussion board)
Hmm... that is kind of different. I never thought a regular member could do this. :P
*sigh*
They can't. It's a bug somewhere, likely in a mod.
Oh, guess I should have read yours and Kindred's previous posts. :P I was in a hurry to get to other questions so I could get my daily help-out in time for lunch. Lol, wonder what I am having...
Not necessarily anything to do with a mod.
If you allow users to select their own themes, and a theme for 1.1 hasn't been updated when you upgrade to 2.0, the user can select that theme and cause the error.
True enough. There are multiple causes, and without further information all we're doing is speculating.
Though I'd expect more errors than just the unread list if it were an improperly updated theme.
Content scraper? I had this once by a guest with no IP related from my members. I banned the IP whoever that person is.
