i think there is a mod for that if not i doubt it be made a feature but more a mod

I don't think this is going to be a feature in standard SMF, it is nice for who likes it but very many forums don't require it.

I agree. That would be better suited as a plugin. To be implemented as a feature it would be redudant in my opinion.
