Title: I want to add text at the top of my forum hompage
Post by: tdennis on October 15, 2010, 05:21:55 PM
A couple of years ago one of my admins added a large print link to recent posts. Now you can click on the text to go to recent posts rather than having to go down to the bottom of the page in the "Forum Stats" to look at the recent posts.

I would like to add a couple of similar links underneath that will take members to our mission statement and to our policies. Problem is I can not figure out where to add these. I thought it would be in the index.php but I thought WRONG!

We are using a custom theme.

Thanks for any help.
Dennis

Have a look at each theme's index.template.php. ;)

Maybe the "Global Headers and Footers" mod?

I'd suggest Global Headers and Footers as well. I use it on pretty much all of my forums. :)

@ Jaekob Caed - Please don't bump a topic to only agree with a team member.  This brings the topic back to the top of the support queue!
