Title: Major database problem ??
Post by: Hoffs on December 27, 2010, 09:47:32 AM
Hi,

My forum has not been working correctly for a couple of days now. The main page loads okay, but following any link from it (post, board, admin, etc) gives a broken link message. I have not installed any modifications in the past month.

Could one specific file be causing the problem, or is the only solution to reinstall the software and restore a backup?

Thanks

Have you tried this?

Thanks for the quick reply. I copied that to the forum root directory and ran it, but when I tried to save the settings I got the same "oops, the link appears to be broken" message that is occurring everywhere else.

The one error that appeared to be showing was the "Queryless URLs". This was showing as "no value set".

You don't have this installed, do you?

If not, what mods DO you have?

No, don't have that mod. I believe the only ones installed are reCAPTCHA, StopSpammer, Anti-Spam Verification Questions, and Tapatalk.
