Have you got any mods installed? If so what mods? Also what version of 2.x are you using?

Based on the mod you have installed and the problem being on the bottom of the page, can you disable the mod and see if the problem is still occurring?

If your only using the default theme and your only mod is disabled you should be able to download the large upgrade package of 2 RC5 and replace all the files in your SMF directory.

May sure to back up you current files first and your database, you can never be to safe!  ;)

Hey there!

If you are not using any mods besides Global Headers and Footers, and you have that uninstalled, you should be safe to upload clean ./Sources and ./Themes files. Do NOT upload the other files, or you will lose your Settings and other important data.

That should resolve the issue for you.

Also make sure to backup before doing anything.

Can anything be done without uploading i mean direct editing of files ? Or should go for uploading ?

The fastest way is to reupload a clean set of ./Sources and ./Themes.
