I have a forum installed version 1.1.11  and now another version is 2.5rc5
can pass forum  posts  1.1.11 to forum 2.5?

You can upgrade your forum from 1.1.11 to 2RC5 if you want without loosing content.

it is recommended to backup the files and database before attempting an upgrade, just in case there are issues.

the problem is that version 1.1.11 forum I hosted in a company and 2.5rc5 forum is hosted at another company, and leave the 01/01/11 version, so I will  lose messages.


so I wanted to know if I can import the forum posts to  01/01/11 to 2.5rc5.

if you can get the database you can upgrade no problem, otherwise there is not really a way to salvage the posts.
