Title: IPB 3.1.1 to SMF 2.0 Converter?
Post by: cyberspeed on June 19, 2011, 05:11:54 PM
Is there any converter from IPB 3.1.1 to SMF 2.0 stable? I only see the "3.0" one, any help will be greatly appreciated

Hello :)
Currently, there isn't. But I'm almost sure it will work with IPB 3.1.1. But, please remember to keep backups. ;)

The 3.0 converter may or may not work with 3.1.1. It really depends on how much the database structure has changed between the two releases. If you do try it, let us know how it goes. Don't worry about the backup either, as the converter won't actually change any of the IPB data - it simply pulls the data from the database, manipulates it into the appropriate format for SMF, and inserts it into SMF's database.
