Title: Count Grandchild posts
Post by: Mari-chi on August 24, 2011, 10:41:57 AM
Is there a way to count the grandchild posts? I only have two grandchild boards, and I would like for their post count to show up on the forum index.

no as it will have a bad impact on your server performance.

I know about the server performance (I've been reading around a bit). I remember reading a thread a few months ago (the thread was old too, I believe) that gave instructions on how to make the forum index count grandchild posts as well. So I'm guessing that it is possible??

it is possible if you know how, but it could cause your host to yell at you for using up too many resources and such.
