Description:
This mod allows users to show a global message in a box with a unique design! Css3 and jquery using as a basis.

Este mod permite mostrarle a sus usuarios un mensaje global dentro de un box con un diseño unico! Utilizando jquery y css3 como base.

Features:

• Activate / deactivate the mod from the administration
• From the administration you can edit the message box with a textarea.
• You can use both HTML in the message board.
• You can choose which group of users will not see the box.
• You can choose which forum or subforum not see the box.
• You can choose from several styles to match the block to your forum.

Caracteristicas:

• Activar/desactivar el mod desde la administracion
• Desde la administracion podras editar el mensaje del box mediante un textarea.
• Puedes utilizar tanto HTML como BBcode en el mensaje.
• Puedes elegir que grupo de usuarios NO vera el box.
• Puedes elegir en que foro o subforo no se vea el box.
• Puedes elegir entre varios estilos para adecuar el bloque a tu foro.

I have installed in RC5, but i see only text. This boxes what i can choose in the admin-settings (box-style, e.g. "dot-luv") are not showing...

same here, except I have 2.0.1

Nice mod, but you might want to post a warning for anyone doing an smf upgrade. They'll need to reverse any code changes done by this mod before upgrading their forums, otherwise all they'll get after an upgrade is: Fatal error: Call to undefined function smfsimple_global_message_box() in /home/.../public_html/.../.../Sources/Load.php(2172) : eval()'d code on line 17

Yep u r right... I had to manual uninstall. It was my first php edition...
I hope now i wont get those anymore. Be aware.

Did you install the mod on your custom theme, not just the default? If you use the default theme do you see the additional content?

Did you activate the mod in the administration page?

Yes, it shows the message but just the text and no styles.

Put the default theme for a second, if the message shows with style the mod work fine but you don't install the mod in all your themes.

I've switched to the default theme. And also re installed with actually selecting all the themes and it seems to be the same.

Can you check if all the modifications were made correctly?

If you can see the message, the problem is with javascript or the style in index.css
I can't see the message because I'm guest in your forum, this mod have a set of permission per member groups... You need to set these permissions so that guests can view the message and so I could do tests

If it's fine with you, if you sign up in the forum i'll make you an admin and you can do the tests. If not could you like specify which permission in particular  I have to enable ?
