Hi
I'm going to write an article about SMF and many other boards. I'm comparing all boards but i also want to include a "Who is using this board?" part. The only problem is that only for SMF i can't retreive any infomation about who's using your software. I mean there's no official showcase page with the most important forums. I mean for vB i have ferrari, many universities, depeche mode... phpbb honda, queen, pearljam and many more. For SMF i only have the following:
- Avril Lavigne
- Avast
- Petition of german government
- Samuel L. Jackson that now is no longer using SMF so nvm
I need many more records. I tried searching for 3 days "Powered by SMF" on google browsing 68 pages with no success. I only have unofficial/not famous boards. Can you please share with me some link?
Thank you
This should help :)

http://www.classroomm.com/objective-c - Official forum for the book Programming in Objective-C
Death Row Records (http://www.deathrowmusic.com/forum) - rap/hip hop label once home to 2pac, Jewell and Snoop Dogg among others

- Avril Lavigne
Avril left Nettwerk and moved to RCA and her forums are now some in-house product.
However, Nettwerk is a fairly big user of SMF for their artist forums. For example, they power the forum for The Weepies (http://phorum.nettwerk.com/weepies/), who have been featured at South By Southwest.
I also see use of SMF within various academic institutions:
Hull Training (http://www.hcctraining.ac.uk/) - "As one of the region's largest training providers, we are sponsored by Hull City Council and the Humberside Learning and Skills Council to provide quality training within the local community to young people and adults."
The Sheffield Students' Union (http://www.shef.ac.uk/union/news/uforums/) at The University of Sheffield
Churchill College JCR (http://jcr.chu.cam.ac.uk/theforum/) at The University of Cambridge
NTNUJAVA Virtual Physics Laboratory (http://www.phy.ntnu.edu.tw/ntnujava/) at National Taiwan Normal University
Buddhist College of Singapore (http://www.bcs.edu.sg/forum/)
University of Sindh (http://usindh.edu.pk/forum/index.php) in Pakistan
The Student Success Center at Sinclair Library (http://gohere.manoa.hawaii.edu/forum/index.php) at University of Hawaii Manoa
And government Agencies:
Isis Suport (https://isis.astrogeology.usgs.gov/IsisSupport/index.php) at the US Geological Survey
The Department of Agriculture, Government of Sri Lanka (http://www.agridept.gov.lk/forum/)
Washington Wing (http://www.wawg.cap.gov/development/smf/) - Civil Air Patrol
Clubs Online, Department of Sports and Recreation , Western Austrailia (http://dsr.wa.gov.au/forum/)
Construction and Planning Agency, Ministry of the Interior (http://forum.cpami.gov.tw/) - Taiwan
Hydroacoustics Forum, Office of Surface Water, US Geological Survey (https://simon.er.usgs.gov/smf/) - Note that all but one forum is hidden from guests.
And one possibly notable company:
Spartan Games (http://forum.spartangames.co.uk/smf/index.php) - a publisher of tabletop games based in the UK
There are plenty of others. I know there is a list in the team board that was being maintained until the last few years. I'm not sure if it's still being updated.
Edit: Added more sites
I already beat you to the punch with Spartan Games, but thanks for clarifying what kind of games they publish :P
Thank you :) very helpful

I don't speak the language, I'm curious what does it say though. :) It looks like banners/logos/stuff already prepared for sites who want to link to them.
Norv, yes it's banners for some popular topics on forum, when you click on baner you can get the code for it. Pretty nice :)
Theres also Freemmorpgmaker (freemmorpgmaker.com)
