Is there anyway to change the Category Icons? this is my forum: 16bitmonster.com/Forums/index.php and I would like to change for example: the comic book icon, marvel comic icon, dc comic icon, and etc.
And any tips on what I can do to spice up the forum would be appreciated. I know mines looks a bit dole. :( thanks!
You mean the ones next to each board? Yes, it's quite easy to change. You just need to make three new images:
on.png - image displayed when there are new posts in a board
on2.png - image displayed when there are new posts in a child board, but not in the main board itself
off.png - image displayed when there aren't any new posts in a board
Once you've made those, just upload them to the Themes/default/images folder.
They don't have to be png images, but you'll have to edit a couple of template files if they aren't.
