Title: New SMF operator, would like to express thanks and i have some questions
Post by: rv77 on October 14, 2011, 10:36:27 AM
Hi.

I'm a web developer myself, and would like to thank the SMF team and community for the effort put into SMF so far.
It's a breeze to operate SMF.

I'm just wondering, where would I start if i wanted to create a mod to include my animated menu (http://mediabeez.ws) into SMF?
At first glance, it seems menus are created all over the place.

Second, I seem to be getting a lot more pageviews in my smf stats than I do in my analytics or adsense accounts.
I've asked google about it of course, but after some research by them they claim their tracking software is operating well. They can't find the discrepancy.
I'm talking thousands of hits worth of discrepancy btw.

My forum is at http://talk-plainly.net

I'd especially love some help with the stats issue.
I haven't read the smf modding docs yet, but i'll be doing that one of these days.
And btw, my animated menu mod will be completely free and opensource, as a way of saying thanks.

Once again, thanks for your efforts, and I hope i can contribute a few things here and there, over time.

you would be best to start individual threads for each of the questions you have, in the correct boards for them, coding, graphics etc.
