I would like to know if it would be possible for the SMF community to use the Tapatalk plugin. This would be great for mobile users.
This would not be feasible.
Most cell (mobile) phones are able to see the forum as intended whereas using tapatalk would mean only those whom have subscribed to their service would be in a position to use the forum as intended.
Not to mention that it would give a false impression of the functionality of the site, too.
The WAP service is also available if the website isn't cell phone friendly for their device. This was the alternative I found, however Chrome on iOS runs the website quite well.
Tapatalk would be nice on these forums if Tapatalk offered push notifications for the SMF software. Receiving instant notifications on my iPhone would be awesome.
