Hi,

I'm new to SMF, I'm trying to convert my forum from IPB 3.2 to SMF 2.0.2. I of course plan to use the converter (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=477019.0)

But I have a lot of posts on the old forum, I'd like to omit posts older than a certain date, how would I go about doing this? Sorry this is more of an IPB question, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Also I am new to the whole forums system, so indepth detailed simple explanations would be greatly appreciated.

you should convert the whole forum (incl. all old posts) and use the maintenance task "Admin - Maintenance - Topics - "Remove all topics not posted in for xx days" strictly after the conversion.
