I Am New To SMF.
I Installed SMF And Tried Very Much To Make It Look Better.
I Selected A Good Looking Theme "News".
But When I Was Just Ready To Start Topics My Theme Just Break ( I Think) But Theme Is Working Fine The Only Problem Is It Is Not Showing The Images And It Is Not Looking Like That I Installed.
I Then Activated Other Themes But These Too Not Showing The Images.
What Should I Do?
Any Suggestion?
Here Is A Screen Shot Of The Situation.
Hiya. Welcome to SMF. 8)
Mind providing a link to your site? Might help in the investigation process. The screen shot is a good thing of course, but being able to see it live would be great.
Thanks For Reply.
It Is http://Universityforum.pk (http://universityforum.pk)
OK, this image just doesn't exist:

Where did you get the theme from? the news_2 folder is interesting.
But Dear When First I Installed It. It Was Working Fine.
I Downloaded It From http://custom.simplemachines.org/themes/index.php?lemma=2441
OK, when you first installed it, it was working OK? What did you then do to it? Looks like your image folder is a little messed up.

More images than just that one. No offense to the designer but in it's current state on that site, that theme is all kinds of messed up. :-\
I Just Done Nothing With That Theme. I Just Installed A Few Mods About SEO.
Dear The Problem Is With All Themes. I Activated Other Theme And Images Were Not Showing.
Hmm...well, it's not the theme out of the box though:

Can you connect to your site via FTP and let us know if there is a Themes/news_2/images/ folder?
Themes/news_2/? It Contains css And scripts folders. No Images folder.
That is at least consistent with what I'm seeing on your site then. What happened to that images folder?!?

Yes, that is how it's supposed to look. Has to be a mod issue.
Yes Dear. Yesterday I installed a watermark mod for images. then this problem showed. then i uninstalled it and deleted it. but i did not know about that images folder?
Reuploading the theme can solve this problem?
Likely just need to upload the images folder from that theme, but unsure of what else may have been affected. What mod are you referring to? I would hope it wouldn't mess with theme images.
It Was http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2083
OK, yeah, that mod shouldn't have touched any of the theme images as I would hope it wouldn't. Looks like it affects images uploaded to your site as attachments in posts.
I guess I'm a little in the dark as to how you are managing your site. Typically, when installing a theme, the entire theme gets uploaded an unpacked. Yet somehow you no longer have an images folder in the news_2 theme. Are you sure you didn't accidentally remove it?
Actually I Reuploaded the theme and all gets fine.
Thanks mashby.
Nice work guys. ;)
@ mashby is there a way to upload image in smf and the will appear as the size without any editing? as uploaded image look small
